Ah, the elusive work/life balance. Many crave it, yet so few seem to achieve it. We are continuously burnt out, frustrated, and still running in our hamster wheels when pay-off was promised. In recent years, we’ve begun to admit that this strategy hasn’t worked out for most of us, and now seek guidance for a way to balance our work with the rest of our life.
We’ve all been there. Sometimes you find your to-do list so full of endless tasks that you can’t will yourself to do... anything. Or maybe you have a looming project (with an equally looming deadline) so big you have no idea where to start.
Maybe you just finished a massive project, or maybe demand is faltering. Even in the busiest positions, there are slow days, and for most employees, slow days warrant a priority shift from “getting things done” to “staving off boredom.”
